Opportunity knocks for a Geotechnical Lead, to 'own' all geotechnical engineering on an established underground operation in the US.

The role is responsible for all geotechnical engineering and leads a small team.

The role is only available due to the incumbent being promoted into a tech services leadership position; this company very much looks after their engineers and offers career development where they can. They also have multiple operations across the Americas, so abundant opportunity in the longer term.

There is an exceptional culture here, of inclusivity and camaraderie; led from the top, but particularly by an enthusiastic operations manager; who is difficult not to like.

The role requires an experienced geotechnical engineer, with underground experience, who either has man-management experience, or is capable to take the step-up.

The position would require a relocation, for most, to an area of outstanding natural beauty, and to a relatively sizable town. The area is very picturesque; lots of lakes, hiking, and outdoor activity.

The operation works a 4/10 roster (4 days on, 10 hours a day) Monday thru Thursday; so, a long weekend, each and every weekend.

The position is remunerated well, with a generous base compensation and incentives. The company would also assist in relocation, temporary accommodation, travel, visas etc.

We are looking for American, Canadian, or Mexican citizenship.

Apply today for a full brief, in assured confidence.
